Why You Need Zygors Guide

The #1 reason I’m so hooked on Zygors guide is it groups quest together by location and level. Have you ever:
- Finished several quests
- Turned them in
- Only to find you missed a quest in the exact same area?
Doesn’t it suck? I hated the feeling of running back to the same area and finishing the quest. (While killing wolves and collecting mushrooms, I could’ve taken that water sample at the same time, doh!)
An in-game arrow that shows you where to go, how far it is, and how long to get there!
When I leveled a new toon with Zygors guide, I never had to do that.
It really did a fantastic job of grouping together and mapping out the most efficient path, so I didn’t have to waste my time, running back and forth.
Sometimes, while turning in quests, Zygors guide even took me on a detour and told me about quests I didn’t even know existed, that was on the way. How cool is that?

Zygors Guide Picks XP Efficient Quests
Have you noticed some quests just take too much time to complete, for the XP? These are usually instances or killing elite mobs (or something like that).
I found that by the time I got in a group, ran through the instance or killed the elite, I could’ve done 2-3 other quests for a lot more XP.
Zygors guide directed me to the most XP efficient quest lines.
And for a lot of quests, the mobs are yellow/green so you won’t be struggling to kill them. Just kill the mob, complete the quest, and have a lot of fun getting to level 85 quickly.

No More Looking Up Quests
An in-game description box keeps track of quests and describes exactly what needs to be done (for those strange quests).
Before, if I had a weird quest and I didn’t know where to go or what to do, I’d ctrl-alt and look up WowWiki or WoWhead to lookup quest details.
With Zygors guide, it gave me a big arrow, telling me:
- Where to go
- How far to go
- Based on my current speed, how long it’ll take to get there
And in the guide box, it told me exactly what to look for (i.e. purple pollen floating down the river).
(It saved me a lot of time and aggravation, especially on a PvP server. I hated being AFK while looking up a quest, coming back, and finding myself at the graveyard because I was ganked. Ah good times.)
Zygors Guide Drawbacks
Cataclysm changed everything! World of Warcraft was released in 2004 and Cataclysm came out in 2010.
Although I just adore Cataclysm because it’s like a reboot, that’s 6 years of quests and locations that just changed overnight.
Zygors guide is still in the processing of tracking down all the changed and putting it back into the plugin. So for some quests chains and areas, you’ll have to improvise.
But I found a most of the quests are still the same so the guide is still highly useful.
